Just to share some photos taken during our nature walk last weekend along The Southern Ridges, Singapore.

It was a fun session of photography and exercise for me!

An ordinary leaf that reminds me of a maple leaf.

Don't know what creature is this but definately not a chameleon.

Couple bird! So sweet and dovey. 

I searched on the internet, it is actually known as a Pink-necked Green Pigeon

(Treron vernans).

Gelish Manicure

I had my first and best manicure done last week by a sweet and paitient manicurist - Kim. Eventhough I have done gelish mani several times but I feel that this is the best as it is with nail art. What I have done before was only gradient / single colours or french.

The flowers are actually stickers pasted on the gel and also decorated with some crystals and gold glitters.

I had my previous gel mani soak off at S$15. Kim is using the genuine soak off solution instead of acetone or fake solution that is why some shops can offer free soak off services.

(Price include soak-off and with 20% for first appointment)

The shop is located in a neighbourhood and run solely by Kim herself. Appointment must be made which means no crowd in the shop, so better quality and service. I feel that this shop is not over commercialized yet. I encountered some other popular manicurists who needs 1 month advance appointment and even deposit!

Gamila Secret - Cleansing Bar

Finally I have started to use this "soap" 2 days ago because I am having breakouts on my back. Hope my skin condition will improve after 28 days.

Gamila Secret is made from no less than fifteen fully active wild herbs, born in a base of shea butter and six pure plant oils, including first cold pressed olive oil. The process of controlled cooking, with ingredients being added at different moments to accomplish the best result, is the real secret.

I bought the Creamy Vanilla for normal/dry skin.

As our skin is made up of various layers, it takes 28 days to renew itself completely. So we need to use Gamila Secret every day for at least four to six weeks to build up a new, healthy skin.

Although this is the creamy vanilla, too bad it does not have much fragrance. It is also quite difficult to lather and is not very foamy. Skin feels a little tight after use but I will continue to use it and hope it has good results!

I bought the Dish to store the cleansing bar well.

I can't resist the temptation. Finally bought this product. Weeks ago I was given a sample of this product and I simply love how it feels on my face!

期待好久, 我终于等到 Gamila Secret 了! 因为之前閲讀了一些 reviews, 感覺很好用, 因此決定購買這个產品。但是没想到在新加坡都找不到它???!!! 這麽可能?!

查詢了很久, 終于決定在台湾的一个網站訂購。我的同事刚好回台湾, 还好可以請他帮忙帶过来。感謝他！

The "lip gloss" is very glossy and bright red in colour. It can achieve the Taylor Swift red lips effect. It has no sticky feel after application. Too bad, I am not into heavy makeup so I will dap my lips with a tissue paper after applying to make my lip colour natural.

Lash Expander Edge Meister (Eyes)

This mascara is smudge resistant, water resistant. It has tiny flakes of blue gitters but it is not obvious.

It lengthens but no volume effect.

Ok. Thought I should try some other brands instead of the usual stuff from Laneige and SK-II. Previously I was using the Cybercolour Cleanser from Sasa. Felt that it was so-so, very neutral.

After reading up some articles on the internet, I feel that makeup cleansing is a very important step. So I decided to invest in a better cleanser. I have dry combination skin and the SA recommended this...

My Verdict:

Initially, I felt that it is quite costly at S$55 for 125ml. But after using, skin does not feel dry. It feels soft & clear, All my make-up is gone by the emulsifying stage. Even the mascara is removed. No need to use a separate eye make-up remover. For me, 1-2 pumps is sufficient to remove all my make-up. It is worth the price.

Will I continue to use it? Yes! Infact, I will buy the bigger bottle next time.

Laneige & SK-II 購物

Went to Isetan yesterday and bought the Laneige Time Freeze Essence & my second bottle of SK-II Miracle Water. 

I am using 2 range of skincare products.

I need lots of moisture as I am expose to aircondition most of the time.

Laneige is a Moisture Specialist.

SK-II is a reputable brand, I just hope to acheive crystal clear skin from it.

Asked the SA to give me a sample. She gave me one of SK-II best seller which is the Stempower (15g, Moisturizer). I just felt a little weird on the service industry in Singapore. It seems bad most of the time unlike Japan, Taiwan or Korea. Isn't it a good advertising opportunity of they could give more (ok "reasonable") samples to customers instead of us asking?

Bought some cosmetics last Sat. Never used Anna Sui. The cute packaging attracted me. SA told me that most of their products come with a mild rose fragrant.

Here are my humble reviews & photographs.

Limited Pressed Powder 02: I find it drying for the skin. Lots of glitter. Nice packaging. Has mild rose fragrance.

 

Mascara: It is really oil and water resistant. Does not smudge by the end of the day. Has mild rose fragrance. Fine tip, easy to apply. ★★★★☆

（Update：去兩傢Mr DIY，只找到一樣風格的杯子，沒有艾菲爾鐵塔的設計。很失望!
