Nature Walk

Just to share some photos taken during our nature walk last weekend along The Southern Ridges, Singapore.

It was a fun session of photography and exercise for me!

Saw this little bird having dinner, I think.

 

An ordinary leaf that reminds me of a maple leaf.

Don't know what creature is this but definately not a chameleon.

Couple bird! So sweet and dovey. 

I searched on the internet, it is actually known as a Pink-necked Green Pigeon

(Treron vernans).

Gelish Manicure

I had my first and best manicure done last week by a sweet and paitient manicurist - Kim. Eventhough I have done gelish mani several times but I feel that this is the best as it is with nail art. What I have done before was only gradient / single colours or french.

The flowers are actually stickers pasted on the gel and also decorated with some crystals and gold glitters.

I had my previous gel mani soak off at S$15. Kim is using the genuine soak off solution instead of acetone or fake solution that is why some shops can offer free soak off services.

(Price include soak-off and with 20% for first appointment)

The shop is located in a neighbourhood and run solely by Kim herself. Appointment must be made which means no crowd in the shop, so better quality and service. I feel that this shop is not over commercialized yet. I encountered some other popular manicurists who needs 1 month advance appointment and even deposit!

Gamila Secret - Cleansing Bar

Finally I have started to use this "soap" 2 days ago because I am having breakouts on my back. Hope my skin condition will improve after 28 days.

Gamila Secret is made from no less than fifteen fully active wild herbs, born in a base of shea butter and six pure plant oils, including first cold pressed olive oil. The process of controlled cooking, with ingredients being added at different moments to accomplish the best result, is the real secret.

I bought the Creamy Vanilla for normal/dry skin.

As our skin is made up of various layers, it takes 28 days to renew itself completely. So we need to use Gamila Secret every day for at least four to six weeks to build up a new, healthy skin.

Although this is the creamy vanilla, too bad it does not have much fragrance. It is also quite difficult to lather and is not very foamy. Skin feels a little tight after use but I will continue to use it and hope it has good results!
